The Leak Report

One page on how leads probably leak at your company.

Built by hand from the outside, before we ever talk. Every fact is marked as observed, every read is marked as ours, and every number has its assumption next to it. It is free, and it is yours whether we speak or not.

What it is

The desk’s method, pointed at one company.

The Appointment Desk runs on a simple idea: the leads a contractor already paid for leak in the hours between the form fill and the estimate. A Leak Report applies that idea to one company, from the street. It does not use your books, your CRM or anything you have not made public. That is a limitation, and the report says so on the page.

Owners in bath, basement, window, siding and roofing get pitched every week. The report is not a pitch. It is the first piece of work, done before any conversation, so the conversation can start from something concrete.

How it is built

Four parts, in the order they appear on the page.

  1. Part 1

What we saw on your site

Your site is opened the way a homeowner would open it, in the evening, and what loaded is written down: whether a chat widget appeared, whether an estimate can be booked online, what the form asks, which ad tags loaded, whether financing is mentioned. Each item is marked observed, and where a read is added it is marked as ours.

  2. Part 2

    What that usually costs

Industry math, not your books. A median replacement firm’s revenue, marketing at the segment median, the Top 500 median cost per issued appointment, and an industry estimate for appointments that never sit. Every assumption is labeled so you can swap in your own numbers in your head.

  3. Part 3

    What the desk does

The four jobs, written for your company and your trade: answer and book inside a minute, confirm three times with both decision makers, rebook no-shows and work old leads on a schedule, and the weekly scorecard.

  4. Part 4

    Just hit reply

The page ends by asking what it got right and what it got wrong. There is nothing to book and no deck to sit through. Chicagoland owners can have the conversation in their own office.

On the page

Two minutes to read. Every number labeled.

$16,400
Median replacement job
$372to$396
Median marketing cost per issued appointment

Qualified Remodeler Top 500, 2026. Attributed each time they appear on a report and never presented as your numbers.

If your sit rate is already high, the page says the number is too high and points elsewhere.

What it is not

Three things a Leak Report will never be.

  • A claim about your numbers.Everything under “what that usually costs” is industry math with the assumptions on the page. Your real sit rate and your real cost per appointment replace them the moment you share them.
  • A pitch for software. The desk is a service run in your company’s name and read every week by a person. The report describes that work, not a product to log into.
  • A reason to be contacted again.Every email that carries a report says how to stop them. One reply ends it.
